Love or hate the day, February 14 is swiftly approaching. Valentine’s Day always stirs up mixed emotions in people, some love the excuse to eat extra chocolate and swoon over their roses, for others the day ends up being one giant disappointment. Regardless of your celebration style, here are a few more options to commemorate the occasion!
Project Pop – Chocolate is overrated, give your sweetie popcorn this year instead! Project Pop’s organic Non-GMO Kernels are popped by hand in organic extra virgin coconut oil. Inside each bag is scrumptious popcorn that is made in Central Florida in small batches.
- Need a card? Head to Winter Park based, giddy paperie, for a popcorn themed VDay card for your BFF or sweetheart!
The Love Fest: The Dinner Party Project– Founder/Curator, Dana Marie Roquemore, is excited to launch the first large-scale dinner for The Dinner Party Project, an invitation-only weekly dinner party created to connect Orlandoans over great food and interesting conversation. On February 13th, 60 guests are invited to commune at 1300 Brookhaven Drive in Orlando beginning at 7 p.m.
- For a suggested donation of $50-$75, experience a locally-sourced four-course dinner prepared by Farm-Haus, with desserts suitable for array of palates from Project Pop, Baked Goodies & A Fine Adventure. Filled to the brim, Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen will serve up coffee, along with craft cocktails from Old Forester Bourbon and lots of wine. Adding to the mix is live music by Kaley Rutledge & Keith Kolakowski, in addition to an interactive photo booth by Cody Jordan.
